How is the torque transmission function of the rubber driving belt realized

Rubber driving belts play a key role in mechanical transmission systems, and one of their important functions is torque transmission. Torque is a force that describes rotational motion, and in mechanical systems, rubber driving belts, through their special design and material selection, effectively transmit torque and ensure that the entire system can operate normally.
Rubber drive belts are designed with the elasticity and flexibility needed to transmit torque in mind. Drive belts are usually composed of multiple layers of rubber and fabric. These layers help absorb and disperse torque, making the transmission of torque smoother. This elastic design allows the transmission belt to adapt to different load and rotation conditions during the torque transmission process, ensuring the stability of the system.
Rubber driving belts are usually covered with teeth or grooves on the surface. These teeth or grooves can fit with corresponding gears or other transmission devices to form a positive mechanical coupling. This design ensures reliable and efficient torque transmission. The material selection of the rubber drive belt also has an important impact on torque transmission.
